Attention Codes (SU09)

 
The Customer Attention Master (SU18) view allows you to add, modify and delete Attention Codes for Customers and Prospects. Attention Codes are set up in Attention Codes (SU09) and are applied to Customers/Prospects in SU18. Once an Attention Code is assigned to a Customer/Prospect, you then assign the Contact Name and Telephone number to the record.

Note: The ability to create and update information in Customer Attention Master (SU18) is controlled by the permissions (create, read, update and delete) assigned to the resource within the role. This help topic assumes that you have the appropriate permissions to create and update records in Customer Attention Master (SU18). For more information, see Role Master-Permissions.

You can access Customer Attention Master (SU18) information for an existing Customer or Prospect or you can create a new Customer Attention Master record for a Customer/Prospect. The following fields are available on the Customer Attention Master (SU18) Search Results grid and are based on the order in which they appear in the grid on the search page:

  • Company Number - every record in the PointForce iTopia SQL database includes the Company Number. When reviewing the results from your search, the Company Number will display for all Customer records. Note: You cannot modify the Company Number field in the grid.

  • Customer Code - displays the Customer Code for the Customer Attention Master record. You cannot modify the Customer Code in the grid.

  • Attention Code - displays the Attention Code assigned to the Customer Attention Master record. You cannot modify this field in the grid.

  • Contact Name - displays the Contact Name assigned to the Customer Attention Master record. You can edit the information in the grid by double clicking on the appropriate cell. Once you make the changes, click on the check mark to update the information or you can click on the 'x' to cancel the change request. The Contact Name can be a maximum of 30 alpha numeric characters in length.

  • Telephone - displays the telephone number for the Customer Attention Master record. You can edit the information in the grid by double clicking on the appropriate cell. Once you make the changes, click on the check mark to update the information or you can click on the 'x' to cancel the change request. The Telephone number can be a maximum of 20 numeric characters in length (this includes all dashes).

Customer Attention Master (SU18) - Details Page

When you click on the View Record Details icon Detail for a specific record on the Customer Attention Master (SU18) Search Results/Grid page, the Customer Attention Master (SU18) Detail page opens for that record.

The following list defines every field in the Details page:

  • In the Main Context section, the Company, Customer Code and Attention Code display as reference information for the detail record you are viewing.

  • In the General section:

    • Contact Name - enter the Contact Name in this field to a maximum of 30 alpha numeric characters.

    • Telehphone - enter the Telephone number of the Contact. You can enter a maximum of 20 characters in this field, which includes all dashes.

  • In the Reference Information section:

    • Creator - displays the user id of the user logged into the system when the Customer Attention Master record was created.

    • Time Created - displays the date and time at which the Customer Attention Master record was created.

    • Modifier - displays the user id of the user logged into the system when this Customer Attention Master record was last updated.

    • Last Change - displays the date and time at which the Customer Attention Master record was last updated.
