Reopening a Closed Shipment with TMS:

The first bullet is a recap of the original message that displays when you are reopening a Closed Shipment:
  • If you are working on an existing Shipment that is Closed (and Invoices have not been generated) or put on Hold, then scan, enter or select from the query the Shipment Number in the Shipment No. field. The following message displays: "Shipment ###### has been closed. Do you wish to reopen it? Yes/No". Select 'Yes' to reopen the Shipment.

  • Once you close the message, the following message automtically displays: "This shipment must be deleted on the TMS system before it can be re-opened. If you continue TMS will automatically be issued a void request. Proceed? Yes/No". Select 'Yes' to void or delete the TMS transaction generated when the Shipment was intially closed. Select 'No' to close the message window and leave the Shipment Closed.
