C1 - Contacts (SU45)

The C1 - Contacts panel in Customer Inquiries (SU45) displays Contact information created in Maintain Customer Contacts (SU20) or in Web Contacts (EC30) for the Customer entered in the Header Section. Depending on the set up in Company Control Initialization (CC00/Contact Management), Contact information is created in SU20 or EC30.

  1. To add a new Contact, hover over the word 'New'. Click the New button.

    • SU20/EC30 automatically opens for the current Customer. Enter the Contact information as required.

    • When all of the information is entered:

      • For SU20, click Update and then close the screen.

      • For EC30, select 'File' from the top menu and then select Save from the list.

      The information is visible in SU45 when you highlight the Contact in the list box.

  2. To edit a Contact, hover over the word 'Edit'. Click the Edit button.

    • SU20/EC30 automatically opens with the Contact information displayed.

    • Make changes as required and then:

      • In SU20, click Update.

      • In EC30, select 'File' from the top menu and then select Save from the list.

    • Close SU20/EC30 and the changes are visible in the SU45 list box.

  3. To copy Contact information, click on the Copy Copy icon. The Contact Name, their Title and Address are copied onto the clip board and you can paste this information into another application.

  4. The list box in the middle of the screen lists all Contacts in SU20/EC30 for the current Customer. The list box includes the following information for each Contact (from SU20/EC30):

    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Job Title
    • Telephone
    • Extension
    • E-mail Address
    • E-mail Document(s)

    Click on a line to have additional information for the Contact display in the fields below the list box.

    Double-click on a line in the list box to open SU20/EC30.

  5. The remaining fields on the C1-Contacts panel display information from SU20/EC30 for the Contact selected in the list box.
