Country Codes (PO09)

The Country Codes panel in Maintain Purchasing Tables (PO09/Country Codes) defines the Country Codes used by Enterprise. The Country Code forms the basis of a relationship between Duty Rates (defined in PO09) and a Supplier (defined in Maintain Supplier Master (PO11)).

  • As Receiving is processed, the Supplier’s Country Code and the Product’s Duty Rate code combine to extract the appropriate Duty Rate to be applied in the calculation of landed cost.
Note: If you are using PFE version 6.0 or higher, the Country Code table has been moved from PO09 to Maintain Country Codes (CC12).

The following list defines every field on the Country Code panel:

  • Code - enter or select from the query a Country Code. Country Codes can be a maximum of 4 characters in length.

  • Description - if you are entering a new Country Code, you must enter a Description. The Description can be a maximum of 25 alpha numeric characters in length. If you are entering an existing Country Code, the Description automatically displays once the Country Code is entered. You may modify the description as required.

The following table outlines the functionality of each button on the Country Codes Panel:
