Print Inventory Listing (IM15)

There are a series of programs in the Inventory Maintenance system that are used to build/maintain the supporting tables for the Product Master file. These tables contain user -defined codes that are subsequently assigned to each product record (like commodity codes, unit of measure codes, class codes, etc.) or are subsequently used to identify inventory adjustment types and GL interfacing tables .

Printouts of all inventory tables and other supporting master files (sets, models and customer part numbers) may be printed on demand.

Formats

The Print Inventory Listing (IM15) program will print the following listings:

  1. Master File Listing - Prints out all data fields in the product master file record, as maintained via program IM13.
  2. Check List - This is a condensed report that prints the product’s code, description, primary bin location and SKU. This report is double spaced and include blank columns headed “On-Shelf Stock”, “Back-up Stock” and “Total Stock”. You may wish to use this report format when performing a partial physical count.
  3. Price List - This listing prints all quantity break prices by product.
  4. Condensed Listing - This condensed listing prints one line per product. It lists the product code, description, available quantity and product’s SKU.
  5. Product Labels - Unless customized, this format prints product labels on stock labels that are approximately 3 ˝” X 15/16” (1-up). The product code, description, and SKU are printed on each label.
  6. Cost Comparison - This listing prints the product code, description, cost (average), the quantity break prices and the gross profit % for each price break. Note that it is possible to run this report format in combination with Restriction 4 (Print Future Prices) or with Restriction 6 (Avg/Replacement Cost).
  7. Product Substitutions - This is a listing of all product substitutes, as maintained via program IM14.
Sequences

The report formats listed above may be printed in any one of the following sequences:
  1. Commodity
  2. Primary Bin Location
  3. Product Code
  4. Supplier
  5. Commodity/Sort Sequence
  6. Supplier/Commodity/Sort/Sequence

Restrictions

Any of the following report restrictions may be selected to further fine-tune the selected listing:
  1. Classification - Allows the user to restrict printing to selected product classes. For example, if you wanted to print a listing of products flagged for deletion, you could restrict the report to print only class “X” products.
  2. Print Future Prices - This restriction may be selected if printing the Master File Listing, Price List or Cost Comparison listings (these are the only formats that report pricing). The operator is required to enter an “Effective Date”. If a product has future prices within that effective date, then the selling prices reported will be from the Future Prices master file. If future prices do not exist or are not yet effective, then the selling prices reported will be from the Product master file.
  3. Negative On Hand - This restriction allows the user to restrict printing to those items with a negative on hand balance.
  4. Average/Replacement Cost - This restriction may only be used if printing the Cost Comparison report. It allows the user to produce this report using replacement costs instead of average costs (which would calculate different gross margin percents).
  5. Q-Brk 1 Only - This restriction may only be used if printing the Cost Comparison report. It allows you to produce the report with the QB1 price instead of all 7 QB prices for each item.
  6. Supplier Product Code - This restriction allows you to include the supplier's product code on the report.
  7. Warehouse - This is the only mandatory restriction, please enter the warehouse you want to print the report for.
