Pricing Folder (SU13)

DRAFT - Under Construction

The Maintain Customer Master (SU13) program's Pricing folder has been updated to reflect the new flexibility in price list assignment. The customer's Master Price List is assigned, minimum quantity break levels can be adjusted and eligibility for the Common Quote and Flyers can be controlled. Configuring customer-specific pricing is simply a matter of assigning one or more Special or Contract price lists. Best Price Controls can be adjusted to protect contract pricing; or the first customer-specific price option can be used when multiple customer price lists are assigned.

Master Price List

Enter the master price list that will be used when determining this customer's prices.

Pricing Level

You can use these buttons to move the price lists around , this is useful for prioritizing the price lists to check especially if the set up is to stop after the first match

Best Price Control subsection

Winsol's pricing routine applies best price logic to price orders. This routine searches through the system to come up with the best price available. These flags control what prices are checked and not checked in the situation where the customer belongs to a customer or price group that includes specific pricing setup as a contract or special (set in IM18 Maintain Group/Cust. Pricing). Placing a checkmark includes these types of pricing in the best price logic routine.

Contracts, Check for

  • Contract If the flag is checked and the customer has a contract price for the product being ordered, the program checks to see if there is a better price for the product on another contract
  • Special If the flag is checked and the customer has a contract price for the product being ordered, the program checks to see if there is a better price for the product in a Special price list.
  • Common Quote If the flag is checked and the customer has a contract price for the product being ordered, the program checks to see if the common quote price for the product is a better price.
  • Flyer Price If the flag is checked and the customer has a contract price for the product being ordered, the program checks to see if the flyer price for the product is a better price.
  • Master QB If the flag is checked and the customer has a contract price for the product being ordered, the program checks to see if there is a better quantity break price for the product. Example If customer ABCINC has a contract to buy product 1001 for $5.50/each as defined in IM18 -- do you want the best price routine to check in common quote pricing, Special pricing, flyer pricing and quantity break pricing for a better price. If yes, check all the boxes.
