Inventory Control (IC) Typical Cycles

  1. Display Product Availability (IC45)
    • Used to query inventory, open orders, invoice history, on hand quantities, purchase orders.

  2. Enter Inventory Adjustments (IC50)
    • Adjusts inventory on hand quantities, costs, serial numbers.
    • Transactions update inventory immediately.

  3. Print Stock Adjustments Report (IC51)
    • Print to show all adjustments made since last print.
    • Entering acceptance codes posts the adjustments to the G/L and clears out the file.
    • The inventory adjustments register (IC51) must be kept in a safe place for future reference.

  4. Inventory Control Management Reporting
    • Use the following programs to analyze inventory items, movement, transactions, and values:
      • Print Inventory Movement (IC80)
      • Print Inventory Evaluation (IC81)
      • Print Over Stocked Report (IC82)
      • Print Sock Status Report (IC83)
      • Print Price Books (IC84)
