EC10/Advanced Language Attributes
The Advanced Language Attributes option is found under the Edit menu on the Categories and Commodities folders in EC10.
- You can use this folder the define the HTML Meta Keywords and/or the HTML Meta Description for the current Category or Commodity from EC10.
The following list defines the fields on the Advanced Language Attributes window:
- In the HTML Meta Tags section:
- Keywords - this is an optional e-Commerce field. Enter keywords that an Internet search engine (e.g. Google) can use to improve the quality of search results. The key words must be separated by a comma.

Note: The Keywords entered here are added to the keywords entered in Maintain Languages (EC04).
- Description - this is an optional e-Commerce field. Enter a short, concise description of the Category that will be used by the search engine to display a summary of the Category web page.

Note: The Description entered here is used only if a Meta Description has not been entered in Product Publishing (EC13/Description) program.
- Keywords - this is an optional e-Commerce field. Enter keywords that an Internet search engine (e.g. Google) can use to improve the quality of search results. The key words must be separated by a comma.
- The Custom section (below the HTML Meta Tags section) is for use in conjunction with custom software projects implemented by Tecsys programming staff.
To save changes made on this window, click Close. The changes are automatically saved and the window automatically closes and you are returned to the Categories or Commodities folder in EC10.
